Electronic Books (ebooks)
- Books 24x7: "How-to" books on computers, computer software, engineering and e-business. Books 24X7 requires that you register for access. Upon accessing Books24x7 for the first time, you will be presented with a 1-step registration page requiring you to enter a valid university e-mail (your uidaho.edu email address). No other information will be required. Upon validation, you will receive a password via email that you will use to log in to Books24x7.
- eBooks on EbscoHost: Contains access to over 14,000 eBooks through the familiar EBSCO platform.
- IEEE-Wiley eBooks Library: Online access to more than 500 titles in “numerous content areas, including Bioengineering, Power & Energy, and Communication Technologies, among other growing areas of research”.
- Making of America (two different sites): Books and journals published in the U.S. 1850-1877
- Online Books: A website that facilitates access to books that are freely readable over the Internet. It also aims to encourage the development of such online books, for the benefit and edification of all.
- Project Gutenberg: Over 10,000 books of all types, published prior to 1923.
- Project Muse eBooks (UPCC): Online access to over 6,500 e-books in the disciplines of History, Political Science, Archaeology & Anthropology, and US Regional Studies.
