INSIDE Idaho grants from USGS and BLM support GIS research activities

INSIDE Idaho has received a number of grants recently to enhance its offerings and services. These grants include:

• USGS Map Update Tools will involve developing a map update viewer and notification web map service for vector data.  The award amount is $20,000 and the duration is 10/01/06 - 09/30/07
• USGS Local Transportation Data will involve developing the partnerships, policies and procedures required to enhance and standardize GIS data availability from multiple USGS partners in north Idaho.  The award amount is $25,000 and the duration is 10/01/06 - 09/30/07.

BLM Data Dissemination will involve the dissemination of BLM spatial datasets to the public.  The award amount is $11,000 and the duration is 10/01/06 - 09/30/07.
