Loan Periods

Loan periods are determined by a number of factors: type of material, type of borrower, and demand. To permit the maximum number of researchers equal access to the collection, each borrower may be requested to bring their material in sooner than the original due date. This action is called “recalling”. In the event of having an item recalled, the original borrower will be notified that the due date for the borrowed item has been adjusted. The original borrower must return the material by the new due date to avoid “overdue recall fines
