Or you can use one of the research consultation services below for more in-depth help:

(Student) Research Assistance Program

UI undergraduate and graduate students may schedule an appointment with a librarian for assistance in finding articles, books, websites and other relevant information for research papers and projects. Soon after you submit this form, you will be contacted by a librarian to set up an appointment. Paper versions of the form are available at the UI Library Information/Reference Desk.

If you have questions about the program, please contact Nancy Young, UI Library, 208-885-2514, nyoung@uidaho.edu.

(Faculty) Research Assistance Program

UI faculty may schedule an appointment with a librarian to receive individualized assistance and consultation. An appointment-based consultation is intended for in-depth analysis of your research question and instruction about using appropriate information resources. Librarians can consult with you on searching the library's catalog and online resources; creating effective research strategies; integrating information resources into specific courses, and designing effective library-based course assignments. Soon after you submit the form, a librarian will contact you to set up an appointment.

If you have questions regarding the program, please contact Nancy Sprague, UI Library, 885-6248, nsprague@uidaho.edu.
