UI Library Book Series Available through Caxton Press

The University of Idaho Library has signed a contract with Caxton Press, of Caldwell, Idaho, to distribute to the book trade current and future books published by the University of Idaho Library. The contract takes effect immediately. All in-print titles can be purchased through Caxton's Web site http://www.caxtonpress.com/, or through local booksellers.

The Library will publish two titles in the early part of 2005, both to be distributed by Caxton. They are:

The second edition of Gene Eastman's history of the Lolo Trail region, BITTERROOT CROSSING and Donna M. Hanson's documentary history of the early frontier Army in northern Idaho, FRONTIER DUTY. The Hanson book will publish, for the first time, many unknown Army accounts of the Palouse region, as well as several maps and early drawings.
