Checklist of Library Publications

September 2002

Special Collections and Archives at the University of Idaho Library announces the availability of The University of Idaho Library: A Checklist of Publications. This is a comprehensive list of monographs, serials, series, electronic publications, and other items prepared by library staff and faculty as contributions to the world of scholarship. Beginning forty years ago, the library has sought to enhance its holdings and to describe its collections through the compilation of lists, bibliographies, and scholarly works. While some have focused on the holdings of Special Collections, other aspects of the library's materials have also been highlighted.

Changing technologies have enlarged the scope of the publications program; in addition to web exhibits, librarians have initiated electronic journals available to an international audience and compiled historic visual data onto CD-ROMs.
