What: A type of periodical. Written for a general audience to provide information and entertainment.

Useful for: Current, easy-to-read information, and for pictures.

Tips: They come in three forms (current, bound, and electronic).

Current magazines:
Latest issues.
Found on the "current issues" shelves, in alphabetical order by the title of the magazine. mag.gif (3477 bytes)

Bound magazines:
Several issues are bound together. (They look like a book.)
Shelved by call number.

Electronic magazines:
Some articles are available through the computer. Sometimes pictures or graphs are not included.
