Lewis and Clark Book Published by UI Library

The UI Library has just published "In Nez Perce Country: Accounts of the Bitterroots and the
Clearwater after Lewis and Clark." The paperback book, compiled and edited by library faculty
members Lynn and Dennis Baird, is eighth in a series of historical accounts published in recent years
by the UI Library.
"In Nez Perce Country" focuses on the years following the Lewis and Clark trek and contains
interpretive essays, as well as many rare, previously unpublished, primary accounts.
The 300-page book, distributed by the UI
Press, sells for $16.95.
