Exhibit in the Library: Lincoln & Idaho

The UI Library and College of Letters Arts & Social Sciences are sponsoring  an exhibit entitled “Lincoln & Idaho”.  This traveling exhibit, prepared by the Idaho Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission, contains informational panels about Lincoln’s life, political career and special connection to Idaho, as well as original and replica Lincoln artifacts. These items will be on display at the UI Library first floor from now until March 30, 2009.

Former Idaho Lt. Governor and Lincoln scholar, David Leroy, will be presenting a lecture:  “Lincoln & Idaho: a Unique Relationship”, on Wednesday March 25 at 4:00 pm, on the first floor of the UI Library. This presentation, sponsored by the Idaho Humanities Commission, is free and open to the public.
