Peace Corps Exhibit at the Library

The traveling exhibit, Idaho Commemorates 50 Years of Peace Corps Service, is making its University of Idaho debut this September on the first and second floors of the library. This exhibit, a joint project of Idahos Returned Peace Corps Volunteers and the Idaho Historical Museum, includes poster-sized images and artifacts that tell the history of the Peace Corps and the stories of Idahos Peace Corps volunteers.

The poster panels line the walls of the first floor hallway and the area near the second floor elevators. The artifacts are displayed in cases on the both floors. More than 1,350 Idahoans have volunteered with the Peace Corps since it was founded by President John F. Kennedy in 1961.
