Dear Sir
Will you please send me some more medicine for my mouth, just exactly like the first medicine you sent me (Tannin & glycerine I think without any acid and it did not color the linen cloth like this last) This last medicine you sent is too strong perhaps. It or something is causing suppuration in the gland in that little natural protuberance (natural – a gland or follicle isnt it?) on the side of the tongue back near the root & I do not like that. And this medicine smarts my mouth. The tannic was healing. Please send me some of the very same medicine you first sent me. And please send it to me by stage, at the very earliest moment possible – And please send bill for what I owe you and I will send money at once.

Dear Sir
Will you please be so kind as to send me at the very earliest moment possible a bottle of the medicine for my mouth labelled 41094. You called it Boracic Acid if I remember rightly. It is white – almost like water. Please make it exactly like that you sent me – no stronger or weaker. You sent it with the medicine containing tannic acid. It is white the tannic acid dark. If you do not remember I can send you a little as a sample but I am very nearly out, and cannot do without it. Please send it to me the very soonest possible. I do not know the cost or I would send the money now. Please send me the bill with the medicine & I will (D.V.) send the money at once.
