A key resource for finding articles, books, maps, conference papers, reports, and theses related to geological sciences. Covers North American geology from 1785 - present; the geology of the rest of the world from 1933 - present.
- GeoScience World
A collection of peer-reviewed journals from major geoscience organizations, such as the Geological Society of America. Full-text online access to some journals begins with volume 1; others begin with 2000-present.
- Web of Science
A good starting point for finding scientific articles in major journals from a wide range of scientific disciplines, including geosciences. Also offers cited reference searching.
- Water Resources
Provides access to journal articles and reports about many aspects of water, including hydrology and climatology.
- Environmental Sciences and Pollution Management
Abstracts and citations covering the environmental sciences are drawn from scientific journals, conference proceedings, reports, monographs, books, and government publications.

Provides access to scientific and technical papers in physics, including geophysics.
- SciFinder Scholar
Covers all aspects of chemistry, including geochemistry.
- Science Direct (Elsevier)
Provides access to the full-text of articles in journals published by Elsevier Science, such as Geomorphology and Earth and Planetary Science Letters. UI journal subscriptions are indicated by a green icon in the journal listing.
- Dissertations and Theses
Provides access to abstracts and citations for dissertations from US universities, as well as selected universities throughout the world. Recent UI dissertations may be available in full text.
