Title Title Yes The title describes the project of the aerial photo with a specific number assigned by the agency taking the photographs.
Date Original Date Created Yes W3CDTF Date the photo was created. In some cases we used ca. YYYY for a date if we could determine an approximate time period if no date was provided. Input date as a 4-digit followed by Month and then Date. Exampe: 1933-10-02.
County Coverage Spatial Yes USGS If possible the specific Idaho county is provided.
Region Coverage Spatial Yes USGS If possible to identify, the specific USGS region of Idaho is provided for the image.
Features Coverage Spatial Yes LCSH Specific identifying landmarks visible in the image, such as, specific rivers, peaks, and etc.
Flight line Description Yes Provides the specific flight line of the series of images that correspond to an index or mosaic.
Subject (LCSH) Subject Yes LCSH Used LCSH by way of Connexion Client. Multiple terms are separated by a semicolon. The structure of the terms is provided by AACR2R.
Source Source No Provides the user with the exact location of the physical item within the collection and describes the provenance of the photographs.
Description Description Yes Provides a more detailed description of the image, such as the original format and year the images was scanned from, the party responsible for taking the phototgraph and they angle of the aerial photograph.
Resource Identifier Identifier Yes A unique number that identifies the image. The number is made up of a series of letters and numbers that correspond to the collection and number assigned by the processing achivist. For example, A1362-33.
Website No map No The URL for to corresponding departments within the library with similar information.
Digitization Specifications No map No Describes the equipment, software and other information regarding the creation of the digital image. For example, Images are scanned at 300 dpi using an HP 4c scanner and are saved on the CD-ROM as compressed TIFF files.
Rights Rights No Copyright to this source is held by the University of Idaho Library and is provided here for educational purposes only. It may not be downloaded, reproduced, or distributed in any format without written permission of the University of Idaho Library. Any attempt to circumvent the access controls placed on this file is a violation of United States and international copyright laws, and is subject to criminal prosecution.
Digital Collection Relation Is-Part-Of No The name of the collection the image is part of, for example, Idaho Aerial Photograph Collection.
Relation.HasVersion Relation HasVersion Yes Provides the call number to the physical CD cataloged in the UI Library Catalog.
Publisher Digital Publisher No Who created the digital image. For example, University of Idaho Library.
Language Language No ISO 639-2 Indicates the intellectual content of the image.
Date Digital Date No W3CDTF The date the digital image was created.
Date Loaded Date No W3CDTF The date the digital image was loaded to CONTENTdm.
Contributors Contributors No Persons at the institution responsible for gathering the images and digitizing them.
Filename No map No Same as the resource identifier with the file extension indicating the type of image being loaded. For example, .jpg or .tiff
