Faculty Services
Library faculty teach class sessions on how to search efficiently and
effectively for information -- using library resources as well as the Web and
other electronic resources. We provide general orientation to library research
in freshman composition classes, but we also can tailor class sessions for
specific assignments, disciplines and courses. Faculty who have a research
project in their class are encouraged to contact us to set up library sessions
to meet particular objectives. We also teach sessions on critically evaluating information sources. Sessions can be arranged for
distance education classes as well.
To schedule a library instruction session, please fill out the request form or contact Diane
Prorak, UI

at least two weeks in advance of when you would like the session.
