The University of Idaho Library is open during the academic year from 8:00 a.m. to midnight, 7 days a week. Library hours during summer and intersession periods vary and are posted. The Student Lounge is always open.

The Information / Reference Desk is staffed:
           Monday -Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
           Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 
           Saturday: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
           Sunday: 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Borrowing Library Materials

The Vandal ID card serves as a library card.
Library materials are checked out at the Circulation Desk. Books generally circulate for 28 days. Loan periods for other materials vary. To learn more about circulation policies, please ask the staff at the Circulation Desk.
