Off-Campus Access

Getting Started

Access Library Resources Using Net ID

To log-in to most library resources from off-campus, you will need to enter your Net ID at the prompt (Vandal Email address and password). If you don't know your Net ID, please contact ITS via their web, https://help.uidaho.edu/, email, helpdesk@uidaho.edu, or phone, 208-885-HELP.

Net ID will be used for the following resources:

  • Off-Campus Access to Databases
  • Off-Campus Access to Ebooks
  • Requests from other Summit Libraries

For Interlibrary Loan Requests, a library barcode number is still needed. If you do not have a Vandal Card, please call 208-885-6843 or email libill@uidaho.edu to receive a barcode number.

Please contact the Reference Desk with any questions at 208-885-6584, libref@uidaho.edu, or via chat at http://www.lib.uidaho.edu.

Problems?

  • If you see an error message, it may be a website we have not enabled through our authentication server.
  • If it works but you still do not have access to the article, it may not be one to which the University of Idaho currently subscribes.
  • Please report problems or request assistance by contacting the library Reference Desk, libref@uidaho.edu.
