Photo text: 'Big Flat just upstream from McKay Bar known as the Haywire Wilson Place. Area is now staked by Clyde Painter. Stock shown in picture belongs to Al Ties who has private land across the river. A number of full grown pigs were also seen which belong to George Jefferies. No actual misuse by Painter was seen. The buildings are vacant. Whole set up shows almost complete lack of control by Forest Service.'
