Photo text: 'Cabin on claim of W.L. Ziegler in Secs. 27 and 28, T. 44N., R. 2E. Located June 19, 1901, while he was attending the University of Idaho. Little residence. No record of ultimate decision, yet it would appear that claim was intact at this time. He is now in South America engaged as a mining engineer.' Note: Marble Creek region homesteads at this time were often part of a homesteads fraud being documented by the US Forest Service.
