He then said that he had busy but productive summer and had practiced new techniques during that time. He had some questions about the conference being held in Calgary, and depending on Bonnichsen's answers he would confirm or deny his acceptance, and then he asked if Tixier and Francois Bordes would be in attendance. He also thanked him for a copy of Jacques Tixier's letter, but said he could not read French.
