Columbia Basin Project, Irrigation Division, Specifications No. 2541, West Canal, Second Section. Contractor: Morrison-Knudsen Inc. View shows construction of bins and rescreening plant installed by subcontractor M.E. Nelson Construction Company with prime contractor's batching plant in the background. Materials rescreened are stored in the timber bins and fed through gates in the bottom onto conveyor belt in tunnel. Sloping sides have been constructed within the bins to eliminate dead storage space.
