“Smelter” is a collection of poems blurring the lines between truth and fiction, fantasy and reality, the past and the future. The poems are driven by interactive landscapes, inter-relatedness, surrealism, and are haunted by an aluminum smelter, Wenatchee-Works Alcoa, located along the Columbia River. The smelter closed in 2016.
