Abstract:

Writing an OpenGL implementation for Unicon’s 2D facilities introduces an opportunity to create an integrated 2D/3D graphics mode that is intuitive to the end user. The implementation must be backwards-compatible with existing Unicon 2D graphics programs. The completion of the project will result in the release of the OpenGL implementation in public beta. Evaluation of this implementation shows it be qualitatively

and quantitatively robust.
