- Thirty-one fertilization test sites were established during a three year period, from 1994 through 1996, by the Intermountain Forest Tree Nutrition Cooperative. The sites were set up under the Third Five Year Study Plan for the IFTNC. The focus ofthis plan was a new study with a forest nutrition/forest health emphasis. The study covered five geographical regions ofthe Intermountain region, including north Idaho, central Idaho, northeast Washington, central Washington, and northeast Oregon. The location, installation name and number, and ownership ofeach site are provided in this report, along with the year of establishment and fertilizer regime applied.
