"Learning by Trials and Errors: UI Clinical Legal Education"

October 17th
Pat Costello, Maureen Laflin & Monica Schurman - Law

Abstract: Did you know that the largest law firm in north Idaho is located at the UI College of Law College? Third year law students under the supervision of law faculty represent clients with real cases in matters from divorce to civil rights violations, from immigration to taxation. Clinic Director Maureen Laflin and Professors Pat Costello and Monica Schurtman will provide a brief overview of the College's clinical programs and then focus on teaching skills through simulation and actual practice.
