"Hollywood, Press and Politics"

Glenn Mosley
Senior Instructor, Journalism and Mass Media
September 18
Whitewater Room, UI Commons-  12:30 p.m.

Abstract: "Hollywood, Press and Politics" focuses on the evolving relationship between the American people and two of their major institutions: politics and the media. In a semester-long course, Glenn Mosley and his students examine the conflicting images of politicians and journalists in movies and television. Mosley will discuss the influence of these images on the American public's perception of these institutions in the 20th and 21st centuries.
