- This presentation describes and shows a video depicting three Palouse farm families. The video represents an exploratory use of visual and participatory methods for investigating and addressing issues of central concern to rural communities. As a research endeavor, this project seeks to understand the state of family farming, and how farmers themselves view it. As a community-centered, or applied research, effort the project offers family farmers a mechanism for acting on their knowledge.
