Threshing outfit in the Troy area harvesting bundled grain. Thresher powered by a wood-burning steam engine about 1910. Caption on photo: The complete threshing crew--my father's job was always running the steam engine, which he thoroughly enjoyed and told of many stories of his harvesting days and all of the jobs that had to be done around this type of harvest equipment. Feeding the horses, cutting wood fro the engine, patching the harness, and etc. They would sometimes work most of the night to be ready for another hard days work in the morning. Dorothy ?Horn/Moon?
