Left to right in town: warehouses, Shay locomotives (depot not yet built), park area and Bovill Hotel premises. Sherman House on Main Street, saloons at right fronting on Pine Street. In distance at the extreme right -- later location of the David boarding house -- is a frame building which was probably the recreation hall.
