Description:
Photo of a single train locomotive with steam coming from the smokestack. It is not pulling anything. Patron-supplied description: Northern Pacific Railway's Z-1 class articulated Mallet 2-6-6-2 locomotive No. 3100, built new by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1910. Photo depicts the locomotive coming away from a turntable c. 1915-20. The same locomotive was sold by NPRy to Polson Logging Company of Hoquiam, WA in 1940.
