- Photo of a train with steam coming from the smokestack. Patron-supplied description: Northern Pacific Railway's Z-1 class articulated Mallet 2-6-6-2 locomotive No. 3100, built new by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1910. Photo depicts the locomotive coming away from a turntable c. 1915-20. The same locomotive was sold by NPRy to Polson Logging Company of Hoquiam, WA in 1940. It operated in logging camps at that location until 1959, when it was retired and cut up for scrap.
