Lanham Cabin Item Info

The Lanham cabin originally was located on the Cabin Creek homestead. After finding out that the USFS was going to naturalize the site. Jim Akenson began planning how to transport the cabin to TWRS. His original plan was to float the logs down to Taylor. However, the U of I got in contact with the Idaho National Guard Engineering Division which ended up flying pieces of the cabin to TWRS as part of their summer training maneuvers in a Chinook chopper in June 1990.
