- The 1957-1958 combined annual reports of the Potlatch Timber Protective Association include financial reports and two separate reports from the Fire Warden on the 1947 and 1948 fire seasons. The warden describes 1957 as a favorable fire season despite being one of the longest and driest fire seasons on record; likewise, 1958 was a dangerous and dry fire season which was successfully managed.
