Description:
A big pole, possibly ninety feet long. This was during early years, possibly 1914, when the pole storage extended along track 5, into the area east of the Elk River road. Note extensive timber extending to the flat past wheat was the George Chrystal place, and the fresh litter of recent logging on the hill beyond, in the direction of the present airport.
