The apparent location is just east of the site of main street. The railroad, built the following year, passed through or just behind the place where the buildings stand. In the foreground is the stable. Beyond, seen to the left and right of the broken snag of a tree, are the main living quarters. At right center, their partly drawn flaps just visible, are two tents mounted over frame floors.
