Hoover Names Search Committee For UI AG Dean Slot

UI President Bob Hoover today announced who will serve as members of the search committee, which represents a broad cross section of the Idaho agricultural community as well as university faculty and staff throughout the state.^^"Our intent is for Idaho agriculture to be well represented in this search process," Hoover said. Currently, former dean Larry Branen is serving as interim dean, following the resignation of David Lineback.^^Chaired by Chuck Hatch, dean of the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Range Sciences, the committee membership will include:^^· Wayne Theissen, potato processing industry and ag college alumni association president^^· Rick Waitely, Idaho Leadership Agriculture and Idaho Food Producers^^· Pat Takasugi, director of the Idaho Department of Agriculture^^· Dick Wittman, president of the Agriculture Consulting Council^^· Idaho Rep.
