Lionel Hampton International Jazz Festival Student Adjudication Results for Feb. 22

Feb. 22, 2008 MOSCOW, Idaho – High school and secondary school vocal groups and soloists took the stage Friday at the Lionel Hampton International Jazz Festival at the University of Idaho. The musicians performed for adjudicators who provided feedback and critical evaluation of the groups’ performance. Groups selected as Adjudicators’ Choice received awards from festival sponsors. Adjudicator’s also selected vocal soloists to perform at Hamp’s Club following the Friday evening concert. Hamp’s Club is a new feature at the Lionel Hampton International Jazz Festival and provides students the opportunity to perform in a special, jazz club-like setting.
