Summer Breezes and Sweet Sounds At UI's Arboretum Concert July 18

July 12, 2005 MOSCOW, Idaho -- Musicians with the University of Idaho Lionel Hampton School of Music and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music will play chamber music from 7 p.m. to dusk Monday, July 18, in the University of Idaho Arboretum and Botanical Garden. The free public concert, now in its sixth year, is a collaboration of the Arboretum Associates and the Lionel Hampton School of Music and is produced by Music Professor Daniel Bukvich. Strings, horns and percussion will augment the summer breeze. Concert-goers are invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets and settle prior to 7 p.m. north of the upper pond near the Norway Spruce Grove, also known as the Watts Family Grove. Parking is available along Nez Perce Drive and limited access transportation within the arboretum will be provided until 6:50 p.m., if needed. Rain cancels.
