May 29, 2001^MOSCOW – The University of Idaho has awarded more than $9 million to over 4,700 students who may attend UI for the 2001-2002 academic year. Students received scholarships for excellent academic records as well as activity and leadership involvement on campus and in communities.^“We are awarding $1 million more to students this year than last, because of the generosity of our donors," said Dan Davenport, Director of Admissions and Student Financial Aid Services.
