Announcing the Release of a New Open Access Workbook on Black History at the University of Idaho

Instructors Annabelle L. Lyne and Dr. Sydney Freeman, Jr. are proud to announce the release of Workbook: The Seminal History and Prospective Future of Blacks at the University of Idaho , an open-access curriculum/course workbook that allows people to learn about the valuable contributions that Black people have made at the University of Idaho.

This groundbreaking course is based on the 2023 book entitled, The Seminal History and Prospective Future of Blacks at the University of Idaho, written by Brody Gasper and Dr. Freeman. It presents a means for students and instructors to engage with and learn from the history of and future of Black students, staff, and faculty at the U of I that Gasper and Freeman's book explores.
