Columbia Basin Project, Irrigation Division, East Low Canal, Specifications 1422, Utah Construction Co. and Winston Bros., Contractor. Looking east across the Broken Rock Siphon No. 1 showing the completed barrel section and construction of the back from for the open inlet transition. The completed open outlet transition is showing in the background with a portion of the reinforcing steel for the closed outlet transition in place. The siphon barrel has a 19'14' inside diameter with 20' concrete walls. The siphon, which is located approximately 8 miles south east of Adrian, is 542 feet long.
