Contractor: Morrison-Knudsen Company, Inc. LaPlant-Choate rooter pulled by D-8 caterpillar tractor through cemented gravel at about Sta. 785. Only two outside ripper teeth are being used. Note difference in penetration of teeth, indicating varying hardness of deposit. West Canal located between Soap Lake, Washington and Winchester, Washington. Harold Foss, photographer.
