The general objective of this study was to analyze water resource impacts from the interaction of hydrologic and mining variables within the Western Phosphate Field. One of the outputs of the study is a model which may be used to predict water resource impacts based on key mining and hydrologic variables. This report summarizes the results presented in four theses and one dissertation by graduate students of the College of Mines and Earth Resources and the College of Engineering at the University of Idaho.
