University of Idaho cheerleaders on ladders by the Tartan Turf roll. Caption reads: "University of Idaho Cheerleaders Carroll Badham, left, and June Schou help "unroll" the school's portable football field in New Idaho Stadium. Seventy-four-thousand-square-foot piece of Tartan Turf was unitized by adhering five-foot-wide sections of impact cushion (on core) with each other and then adding nylon pile carpeting (floor). Core is 210 feet long and eight feet in diameter. Turf and core weigh about 225,000 pounds."
