In 1943 an addition to the original building was built (1) and later a crib bin elevator (2) was built, late 1943 and 1944. This was for handling bulk peas from Idaho. Later pea processing and splitting equipment was installed in both buildings. Picture shows soybean plots in foreground with popcorn plots beyond. Picture by Clifford M. Ott 1944.
