Looking southwest at the east end of the two Washburn-Wilson Seed Company plants no. 1 and 2. In 1945 a one-story flathouse was built connecting the two plants, giving Washburn-Wilson 712 feet front on the [Northern] Burlington [Railroad] siding. Small brick building was the apartment where Clifford M. Ott stayed while at Ralston from October 1942 to January 1945.
