Postcard of the Park Junction Covered Bridge in Pierce County, Washington being demolished. | Park Junction Covered Bridge World Guide Pierce Co. Wash. One of the few remaining wooden covered bridges owned by the Milwaukee Railroad it is being replaced with a steel bridge. This old twospan bridge is 300 feet long and was built in 1938. Picture taken Sept. 1970 shows one-half bridge demolished and piling driven for temporary track.
