According to the broadcast at 10 last night, a Japanese submarine conducted a bombing in British controlled Vancouver and damaged the Telegraph Building. Obviously though, I don’t know how a submarine could make advance considering the geographical factor of the region and am wondering if that was wrong reporting for air raids. The U.S. federal government is holding back detailed information as usual, and it is hard to find out. However, there is no doubt that the fear of expanded attacks over the mainland of the U.S. gave a huge blow to U.S. citizens, and at the same time, they realize the importance of the U.S. Navy. The media is reporting that the North Pacific Fleet Force including Midway achieved a huge victory at the Battle of the Coral Sea these days and released an official announcement that the Japanese navy suffered tremendous damage. They are gaining joyous support from ignorant citizens, but how do they deal with the attack in Vancouver?
