Cool air in the early mornings gives us a feeling of autumn approaching. Extreme heat in this region peaks in July, and it should be a lot more comfortable in a week or two.
About 180 fellow citizens arrived at around 9 a.m. as announced in advance. Guessing game was going on initially, and we were saying they were from Wisconsin, New Mexico, Missoula and other places, but it turned out they all are our fellow citizens from Fort Missoula.

Only Mr. Kota [1] Matsushima and Mr. Seiichi [Masaichi] [Masakazu] Kuranishi are from the Oregon group, and Mr. Koyama was left behind. Mr. Asaba, Mr. Akatonbo Nakamura, Mr. Meiyo (Sadamu/Sadame/Tei/Sada) Nakamura, Mr. Ko [Ebisu?] Masuda, Mr. Tobe (manager of Furuya), Mr. Fukuto [2] Takahashi, Mr. Kai [Koi] Tanaki, Mr. Nishizaki, Mr. Arifuji (Taihoku Printer), Mr. Nikko Hirao and Mr. Izui from Panama Pharmacy are among our friends from Seattle. There are probably more, but we do not know yet. They are held in the H area, and we have limited visitation time to each other.
