Mr. Sakimura told us that an internee director general will visit the camp for an inspection, and the soldiers are busy conducting pre-inspections. I find it comical and feel sorry for him at the same time to see him working hard by himself to be so loyal. A meeting is scheduled between the general and our representatives, and we are asked to submit our requests and questions to the leaders. I requested soft food for those who are sick.
A Buddhism lecture by master Okawa was held at 7 p.m. in the sixth unit. This was the most informal of all about joy and gratitude, kindness and forgiveness, and I find it very informative.
I have a cold and spent the day in my bed. This is the first case for the last year, and I am being extra careful.
