Coordinator Matsumoto announced the result of votes about the labor order, and the yes votes to the 10 day labor got the majority by 43 to 32.
We need to find out if U.S. internees in Japan are forced to complicated labor just as we are.
A farewell gathering was held in the sixth unit for Mr. Ishizuka, who received a transfer order to the family center. It worked out very well as it was our unit to be in charge of the kitchen, and we managed to prepare several special dishes. We opened beer bottles and had a jolly meal with rice balls with pickled plums, egg foo young, cake, pickles and others, wishing him good health.

It turned out that the general expected to visit the other day is just an officer serving as the general inspector of this Livingston Camp. He never showed up, but we were told that he sent a letter through an officer. I have no idea what is going on.
