- A big snowfall, seen at the Bovill Hotel. This, of April 1, 1917, is part of the heavy snow that fell in the corresponding winter. The photo also shows construction which forms the angle of the building and joins the former store (with added veranda, right) with the original hotel building (left). This central section was built in 1910 or thereabout. The 'post-office lean-to,' a structure added in 1908 on the south side of the store, does not show.
